The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 1,040 occupiers, 7 tanks and over 50 artillery systems

As of the morning of August 8, Russia had lost about 1,061,350 troops since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 1,040 people.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the Russian army from February 24, 2022 to August 8, 2025 are approximately:
