The Ukrainian Defense Forces have intensified their search for Russian missile systems, which has led the occupiers to move some of their launchers away from the Ukrainian border. According to sources, some of them are now located approximately 200 kilometers from the border. This, in particular, limits the Russian Federation’s ability to use missiles from the S-300 and S-400 systems.

This is stated in the RBC-Ukraine article “Reactive “Shaheeds” and strikes on the energy sector. How Russia is changing its attacks on Kyiv.”

The publication’s interlocutors note that in recent weeks the Ukrainian military has intensified the hunt for Russian missile systems.

According to one of the sources, the occupiers previously launched ballistic missiles from launchers located approximately 100 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Now, due to the activity of the Defense Forces, the enemy has moved some of the installations approximately 200 kilometers away.

As the source explained, this creates limitations for the Russian forces regarding the range of use of certain missiles. In particular, we are talking about the RM-48U surface-to-surface missiles used by the S-300 and S-400 systems. Their range is up to 250 kilometers.
