The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 108 attacks by the invaders since the beginning of the day: which directions are the hottest?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on April 5, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total, 108 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The defense forces continue to stop the enemy, destroy personnel and exhaust the combat potential of the occupiers, inflicting systematic fire damage.

The enemy carried out 45 air strikes, dropped 157 guided bombs. In addition, it used 3,534 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 2,362 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.

One clash occurred in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 53 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including one using a multiple launch rocket system.

In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy twice stormed our positions in the direction of Staritsa and Vovchansk. One clash is ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders successfully repelled six enemy assaults in the direction of Novoosynovoye, Petropavlivka, and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled one attempt by the invaders to advance towards the settlement of Kopanky.

In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four assaults by the occupiers in the areas of Yampol, Zakytne, and Riznykovka. Two clashes are ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy twice attacked the positions of our defenders in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka area.
The defense forces successfully repelled 17 enemy assaults in the Kostyantynivka direction near Kostyantynivka, Ivano-Pol, Kleban-Byka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 24 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Muravka, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Udachne, Muravka, Novopavlivka and Filiya. One clash is ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction 54 occupiers were eliminated and 17 were wounded; two units of automobiles and nine units of special enemy equipment, a motorcycle, one personnel shelter were destroyed, two artillery systems, seven units of automobiles, four UAV control points and 87 enemy infantry shelters were damaged. 150 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders tried to improve their position seven times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Sichneve, Krasnohirske and towards Sosnivka, Verbovye, and Kalynivske.

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 12 attacks by the invaders in the direction of Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipilske, Svyatopetrivka, Varvarivka, and Zelenye. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Varvarivka, Tsvitkove, Verkhnia Tersa, Hulyaipilske, Kopany, Zaliznychne, Novoselivka, and Dolynka. Two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations, but carried out air strikes on the areas of the settlements of Komyshuvakha and Novoyakovlevka.

In the Prydniprovs’ky direction, the enemy conducted three futile assault operations in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge and near the Bilogrudy Island. Rozliv and Zorivka came under enemy air strikes.

There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
