Ukraine repels 110 Russian assaults in a single day: main battles on the front

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released operational updates on the Russian invasion as of 10:00 p.m. on August 27, 2025.
Since the beginning of the day, 110 combat engagements have taken place. The enemy has carried out 56 air strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, using 84 guided bombs. Additionally, 1,647 kamikaze drone strikes and 3,554 artillery attacks have been recorded.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, six combat clashes occurred today. The enemy conducted 165 artillery strikes, including four from multiple launch rocket systems, carried out 12 air strikes, and dropped 23 guided bombs.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, Ukrainian units repelled three attacks in the areas of Hlyboke and Kolodyazne. Two clashes near Vovchansk and Kamyanka are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted six breakthroughs against Ukrainian defenses in the Kupyansk area. Four attacks are still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 20 assaults, attempting to advance in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Novy Myr, Zelenaya Dolyna, Kolodyazy, Torske, Serebryanka, and in the directions of Yampol, Zakitne, Dronivka, and Shandryholove. Nine combat engagements remain ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled three attacks near Fedorivka, Hryhorivka, and towards Siversk. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted seven penetrations in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Toretsk, and Poltavka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces carried out 33 assault and offensive actions. Activity was recorded in the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Sukhetske, Lysivka, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, and in the directions of Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Promin, Balakhan, Novopavlivka, Chervonyi Lyman, and Pokrovsk. One combat clash is ongoing.
Preliminary estimates indicate that Ukrainian defenders in this direction neutralized 151 enemy personnel, including 107 killed. Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed an armored combat vehicle, a cannon, seven cars, a motorcycle, 84 unmanned aerial vehicles, and an enemy drone control point.
In the Novopavlivske direction, Ukrainian units repelled 15 attacks in the areas of Filiya, Ivanivka, Voskresenka, and towards Sichneve. One clash remains ongoing.
No enemy offensive actions have been recorded in the Kramatorsk, Hulyaipil, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovsk directions since the beginning of the day. However, the enemy carried out air strikes on the settlements of Bilohirya and Mykolaivka.
