The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 116 attacks by the Russian army on 12 front lines since the beginning of the day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on August 21, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.

Since the beginning of the day , 116 combat clashes have taken place. The enemy carried out two missile strikes with 43 missiles and 49 air strikes, dropping 70 guided aerial bombs. It also used 1,850 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 3,876 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks by the invaders. The enemy launched five air strikes, dropped nine guided aerial bombs, and carried out 161 artillery shelling, including four from multiple rocket launcher systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, Ukrainian units repelled five enemy attacks near the settlements of Vovchansk, Khatne, Ambarne, and Zapadne.

In the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Golubivka and Kupyansk.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 14 assault actions of the invaders near the settlements of Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodyazi, Dibrova and towards Yampol. Three more combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy carried out five offensive actions in the areas of Serebryanka, Viyimka, Hryhorivka, Siversk, and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Kostyantynivka and Predtechyny.

In the Toretsk direction, the invaders stormed the positions of our defenders four times today in the areas of Oleksandro-Kalynovoy, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, Poltavka, and Toretsk. The defense forces are steadfastly holding back the onslaught and repelling all enemy attacks.

During the day, the enemy carried out 29 offensive actions in the Pokrovsky direction. The activity of the Russian occupiers was recorded near the settlements of Nykanorivka, Novoekonomichne, Mykolaivka, Rodynske, Myrolyubivka, Chervonyi Liman, Promin, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Novopavlivka, Muravka, Novoukrainka, Zatyshok, Kotlyne, Udachne, Lysivka, Dachne. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.

Today, according to preliminary data, 107 occupiers have been neutralized in this direction, of which 71 have been irretrievably destroyed. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed one drone control point, one fuel and lubricants warehouse, 47 drones, six vehicles and two special equipment, and also hit two enemy guns.

In the Novopavlivske direction, Ukrainian units repelled 25 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Voskresenka, Zaporizhske, Temyrivka, Zelene Pole, Tolstoy, Lisne, Olhivske and in the direction of the settlements of Komyshuvakha and Filiya. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil and Orikhiv directions. Enemy aircraft struck the settlements of Novoukrainka and Orikhiv.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the invaders twice attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in the direction of the Antonivske Bridge. The enemy was unsuccessful. The settlement of Prydniprovske was subjected to air strikes with guided bombs.
