Ukraine’s Defense Holds Strong: 122 Enemy Attacks Repelled Across 12 Fronts in a Single Day

As of 10:00 p.m. on June 24, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported intense fighting along the front, releasing new operational data on the scale and direction of Russia’s ongoing invasion.

Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting effective fire damage and exhausting Russian forces along the entire front line. In total, 122 clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day.

The Russian invaders launched three missiles and 54 air strikes, used nine missiles, and dropped 87 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians deployed 1,097 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,587 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian troops repelled one enemy attack. Additionally, the enemy carried out 112 artillery strikes.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy launched seven assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk and Kamyanske — all were successfully repelled. Vovchanski Khutory, Artilne, and Zybyne were hit by airstrikes.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy launched five attacks on Ukrainian defenders near Stepova Novoselivka, Kruglyakivka, and in the directions of Pishchane and Kurylivka. One battle is currently ongoing.

In the Lymansky direction, Russian forces have attacked 14 times near Kolodyazi, Torske, and in the areas of Zelenaya Dolyna, Shandryholove, Hrekivka, and Druzhelyubivka. Four clashes are ongoing.

In the Siversky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the Hryhorivka area.

In the Kramatorsk direction, seven enemy assaults were successfully repelled near Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and in the direction of Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attacked five times, concentrating efforts near Toretsk, Nelipivka, and in the directions of Rusyn Yar and Yablunivka. All attacks were repelled.

In the Pokrovsky direction, Russian troops attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 49 times near the settlements of Malynivka, Myrne, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Chuhuyeve, Serhiivka, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyarivka, Oleksiivka, Dachne, and toward Poltavka and Volodymyrivka. Thirteen clashes are still ongoing.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are effectively holding back enemy attacks: 173 enemy personnel were neutralized in this direction, including 104 irretrievably. Additionally, ten vehicles, two ATVs, two guns, eight UAVs, and one satellite communication terminal were destroyed. Two more vehicles, six guns, and one mortar were significantly damaged.

In the Novopavlivske direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 13 enemy assaults near Vesele, Novosilka, Shevchenko, Vilne Pole, and in the directions of Novopil, Zaporizhzhia, and Komar. Four battles continue.

In the Hulyaipil direction, with air support, the enemy launched one unsuccessful attack on Ukrainian positions near Malynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces made four failed attempts to advance near Kamianske.

In the Dnieper direction, enemy forces launched three assaults on Defense Force positions and carried out an airstrike on Odradokamyanka.

In other directions, the situation remains without significant changes.
