The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 129 attacks by the Russian army since the beginning of the day: which directions are the hottest?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on September 4, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.

Since the beginning of this day , 129 combat clashes have taken place. Today, the occupiers launched two missile and 53 air strikes, used three missiles, and dropped 80 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians engaged 1,931 kamikaze drones in the destruction and carried out 3,427 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled four Russian attacks. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has launched 14 air strikes, dropped a total of 30 guided bombs and carried out 175 artillery attacks, including 10 from multiple rocket launcher systems.

In the South-Slobozhansk direction, our troops stopped four enemy attacks near the settlement of Vovchansk, and three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out five offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Stepova Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka and in the Petropavlivka and Novoplatonivka directions. One combat clash is still ongoing.

In the Lymansky direction, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times during the day near the settlements of Hrekivka, Karpivka, Kolodyazi, Torske, Novomykhailivka and in the directions of Novy Mir and Shandryholovy. Eight combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Siversky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks near Hryhorivka, Serebryanka and towards Yampol, Dronivka, Siversk, and Viymka. Six more clashes are ongoing.

Five combat clashes have been recorded in the Kramatorsk direction so far. The invader tried to advance towards Bondarne and Stupochky.

In the Torets direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 11 times. The main offensive efforts of the occupiers were concentrated in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, the invading units tried to break through our defenses 28 times in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Kucheriv Yar, Rubizhne, Nykanorivka, Sukhyi Yar, Zvirovo, Myrolyubivka, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne and in the direction of Novopavlivka. Three combat clashes are ongoing to this day. Today, in this direction, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 144 invaders, 92 of them irreversibly. A tank, 30 UAVs, 15 units of automotive equipment, a unit of special equipment were also destroyed and four artillery systems, one UAV control point, and five units of enemy automotive equipment were damaged.

In the Novopavlivske direction, the enemy attacked 20 times in the areas of the settlements of Filiya, Sichneve, Komyshuvakha, Voskresenka, Maliivka, Temyrivka, and Olhivske. Six combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the enemy carried out an air strike in the Bilogirya area. It did not conduct offensive operations in the direction.

In the Orikhiv direction, two clashes took place in the Kamyanske area. Stepnohirsk was hit by airstrikes.

In the Prydniprovskie direction, the enemy made two futile attempts to break through the defenses of our defenders. The enemy launched an air strike in the area of the settlement of Kozatske.

In other areas, the situation has not undergone significant changes.
