Ukraine’s Armed Forces Repel 133 Attacks Across 13 Fronts Since Dawn

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released operational updates as of 10:00 PM on August 12, 2025, detailing the ongoing Russian invasion.

Since the beginning of the day, 133 combat engagements have taken place. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel enemy attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting significant fire damage on the invaders.

The Russian forces conducted one missile strike using four missiles and carried out 67 airstrikes, dropping 130 guided bombs. Additionally, they deployed 1,528 kamikaze drones and launched 3,637 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, nine clashes occurred. The enemy carried out six airstrikes, dropped fourteen guided bombs, and launched 178 attacks, including six from multiple rocket launchers.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, since the start of the day, the enemy conducted three offensive actions near the settlement of Kamyanka.

In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor attacked near Kindrashivka, Moskovka, and Kupyansk, but Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled five enemy attempts to advance.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times in the areas of Hrekivka, Myrne, Zarechny, Karpivka, Torske, Dibrova, as well as near Shandryholovy and Serebryanka. Three clashes remain ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled eight assaults by occupying forces in the areas of Hryhorivka and Viyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions near Oleksandro-Shultyny and Stupochy. Our defense forces successfully repelled both attacks.

Four assaults by Russian forces were recorded in the Torets direction, in the areas of Nelipivka, Shcherbinivka, and Yablunivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy attacked in the areas of Popovy Yar, Volodymyrivka, Kolodyazivka, Nykanorivka, Novyy Shakhovy, Novoekonomichny, Zvirovy, Udachny, as well as near Rodynske and Promen. Our defenders stopped 33 enemy assault attempts, with two clashes ongoing. Preliminary data indicate that 167 enemy combatants have been neutralized in this sector, including 116 irreversibly. Ukrainian soldiers destroyed two armored combat vehicles, 85 unmanned aerial vehicles, six cars, two UAV antennas, and two enemy UAV control points.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attempted 22 times to breach the defenses of our forces in the areas of Dachne, Novoukrainka, Vilne Pole, Oleksandrohrad, Tolstyi, Myrne, Maliivka, Voskresenka, and Andriivka-Klevtsove. Four clashes remain ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy advanced towards Poltavka and carried out an airstrike near the settlement of Bilohirya.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two enemy assaults near Kamyanske. The settlements of Stepnohirsk and Plavni were targeted by airstrikes using guided bombs.

In the Prydniprovsk direction, the enemy launched six attacks against Ukrainian positions. Additionally, an airstrike was conducted on Odradokamyanka.
