The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 139 assaults by the Russian army since the beginning of the day: where did the most clashes take place?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 PM on July 21, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.

Since the beginning of the day , 139 combat clashes have taken place. The enemy carried out one massive missile strike with twenty-four missiles and forty-five air strikes, dropping sixty-one guided bombs. It also used 1,251 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 3,145 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled eleven attacks by the invaders, and another clash continues to this day. The enemy carried out four air strikes, dropping six guided bombs and 177 artillery shells, including four from multiple rocket launchers.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, Ukrainian units repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamyanka, Stroivka, and Kutkivka. One clash is still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers repelled six enemy attacks in the areas of Golubivka, Kupyansk, Pishchany, Zagryzovy, and Zeleny Gay.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped eighteen assault actions of the invaders near the settlements of Novyi Mir, Karpivka, Kolodyazi, Yampolivka, Torske and in the direction of the settlements of Serebryanka, Seredne, Shandryholove, and Hryhorivka. Three more clashes are still ongoing.

In the Siversky direction, the enemy carried out three offensive actions in the areas of Serebryanka, Verkhnyokamyansky, and Pereyzny.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled six attempts by the invaders to advance in the area of Bila Hora and towards Predtechyny.

In the Torets direction, the invaders stormed the positions of our defenders nine times today in the areas of Diliivka, Romanivka, Oleksandro-Kalynovoye, Novospassky and towards Katerynivka and Pleshchiivka. The defense forces are steadfastly holding back the onslaught and repelling all enemy attacks.

During the day, the enemy carried out forty-three offensive actions in the Pokrovsk direction. The activity of the Russian occupiers was recorded near the settlements of Udachne, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Zvirovo in the direction of Novoukrainka, Pokrovsk, Dachny, Myrnograd, Mayak. Two clashes are still ongoing. Today, according to preliminary data, eighty-one occupiers have been neutralized in this direction, of which forty-six have been irreversibly destroyed. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed five unmanned aerial vehicles and also hit one enemy gun.

In the Novopavlivske direction, Ukrainian units repelled nine attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zirka, Piddubne, Myrne, Dachne and towards the settlements of Oleksandrograd and Voskresenka. Four clashes are still ongoing.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil direction.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked our defenders’ positions in the Kamyansk area three times, but the Defense Forces units successfully repelled the enemy attack. In addition, enemy aircraft struck the settlement of Stepnogirsk.

In the Prydniprovske direction, there was one clash with the occupiers in the direction of the settlement of Prydniprovske. The enemy was unsuccessful.
