Ukrainian Forces Repel 159 Russian Attacks Across 13 Fronts in One Day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released an operational update as of 10:00 PM on April 30, 2025, regarding the ongoing Russian invasion.

Since the beginning of this day, 159 combat clashes have taken place. Today, the occupiers have carried out fifty air strikes, using 77 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians have engaged 1,292 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,162 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 25 Russian attacks, and four more clashes are ongoing. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has launched seven air strikes, dropped a total of 17 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 310 artillery attacks, including ten from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, our troops repelled ten enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe, and Kamyanka.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out five offensive actions against the positions of our defenders in the areas of Kindrashivka, Zagryzove, and toward Kupyansk.

In the Lymansky direction, during the day, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 18 times near the settlements of Karpivka, Novyi Mir, Ridkodub, and Yampolivka, and in the direction of Dronivka, Shandryholove, Olhivka, and Yampil.

In the Siversky direction, our defenders repelled eight enemy attacks near Serebryanka, Vyiymka, and Fedorivka.

Six clashes have been recorded so far in the Kramatorsk direction. The invaders attempted to advance near Chasiv Yar, Minkivka, Novomarkove, and toward Bondarne. One clash is ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces launched 13 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces. The enemy concentrated its main offensive efforts near the settlements of Toretsk, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, and Oleksandro-Kalynove, and in the directions of Bila Hora and Pleshchiivka. Our troops repelled 12 enemy assaults; one engagement is still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the invaders attempted to breach our defenses 49 times in the areas of Popiv Yar, Fedorivka, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Horikhove, and toward Boykivka, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoukrainka, and Dachne. Today in this direction, Ukrainian troops neutralized 83 enemy personnel, including 59 irreversibly. Additionally, one motorcycle and eight enemy UAVs were destroyed.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy conducted 22 attacks near the settlements of Zaporizke, Komar, Perebudova, Piddubne, Maliivka, Fedorivka, Shevchenko, and Novopil. All enemy assaults were successfully repelled by our defenders.

In the Huliaipole direction, our troops repelled one enemy attack near Malynivka. The enemy also carried out an air strike on Bilohiria.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched one assault, attempting to advance near the settlement of Plavni.

In the Dnipro direction, Russian forces carried out three unsuccessful attacks.

In other areas, the situation has not undergone significant changes.
