The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 185 assaults by the Russian army since the beginning of the day: where did the most clashes take place?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on November 8, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total, 185 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of this day. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on it.

The Russian invaders carried out one missile and 37 air strikes, used 41 missiles and dropped 71 guided bombs. In addition, they used 3,667 kamikaze drones to destroy the positions of our troops and settlements and carried out 3,732 attacks.

There were 11 combat engagements in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. The enemy launched nine air strikes, dropped a total of 17 guided bombs, and carried out 149 attacks, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.

Today, the enemy attacked 17 times in the South-Slobozhansk direction in the areas of Vovchansk, Vovchanskiye Khutory, Synelnykyve, Tykhy, and towards the settlements of Dvorichanske and Kolodyazne.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made six attempts to advance towards Petropavlivka and Peshchanye. Two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled three assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Zarichne, Derylove, and towards the settlement of Korovyn Yar.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy attacked 14 times in the areas of Yampol, Serebryanka, Dronivka, Viyimka, and Fedorivka, and three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our soldiers repelled an enemy attack in the Zaliznyansky area.

Nine combat clashes took place in the Kostyantynivka direction today. The enemy tried to storm the positions of Ukrainian units near Yablunivka, Shcherbinivka, and towards Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 69 times in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Fedorivka, Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zelene, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Kotlyarivka, Horikhove, and Filiya. Our defenders are holding back the enemy’s onslaught, and fighting is still ongoing in some locations.

Today, according to preliminary data, 93 occupiers have been neutralized in this direction, of which 58 have been irretrievably destroyed. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed eight vehicles and nine unmanned aerial vehicles, and also hit a tank, an artillery system, 13 vehicles, a UAV control point, and 11 shelters for enemy personnel.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Zeleny Hai, Orestopol, Sosnivka, Vorone, Novomykolaivka, Pryvillya, and Krasnohirske.

In the Hulyaipil direction, nine clashes occurred in the areas of the settlements of Uspenivka and Novouspenivske.

In the Orikhiv direction, two clashes occurred since the beginning of the day – the occupiers tried to advance in the Plavni area.

In the Dnieper direction, the Defense Forces stopped the enemy’s attempt to advance.

There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
