The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 215 assaults by the Russian army since the beginning of the day: the hottest directions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on October 17 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total, 215 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The enemy launched one missile strike and 65 air strikes, dropped 228 guided bombs. In addition, it engaged 5,173 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 2,088 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have carried out one assault operation, launched one airstrike using six anti-aircraft guns, and carried out 48 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, one of which involved the use of MLRS.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units four times in the areas of the settlements of Izbitske, Prylipka, and Rybalchyne.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried to improve its positions ten times, conducting assault operations towards Novoosynovo and Radkivka.

Seven attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman direction towards Novosergiyevka, Shandryholovye, Stavky, and Lyman.

In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped two attempts by the invaders to advance in the area of the settlements of Piskunivka and Yurkivka.

The enemy did not conduct any assault operations in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy assaults: in the area of the Kostyantynivka settlement and towards Novoselivka, Mykolaipyl, Raiske, Gruzke, Vilny and Kucherovy Yar.

The enemy carried out twenty-eight attacks in the Pokrovsky direction. The occupiers tried to advance near the settlements of Dobropillya, Dorozhne, Hannivka, Chernihivka, Vodyanske, Krasnopodillia, Myrne, Serhiivka, Molodetske, Mykolaivka, Muravka, and Novopavlivka.

According to preliminary estimates, 82 occupiers were eliminated here today, 21 were wounded; 22 vehicles, one special vehicle, and 32 shelters were destroyed. Eight vehicles, a UAV control point, 113 shelters, and an enemy ammunition depot were damaged. 209 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy stormed once towards Ternovoye.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the Defense Forces repelled 18 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Rizdvyanka, Dolynka, Girke, Charivne, and Yehorivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers tried to improve their position by attacking seven times in the direction of Chervona Krynytsia, Novodanylivka, Zarichny, Pavlivka, and Prymorske.

The invaders did not conduct any assault operations in the Dnieper direction.

There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
