The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a Russian radar in the Bryansk region and ammunition depots in the Donetsk region
On October 18 and the night of October 19, the Ukrainian military struck a number of Russian army targets. In particular, the Defense Forces struck a radar station in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, ammunition depots in the Donetsk region, and positions of the occupiers in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, Ukrainian units attacked a Russian radar station near Trubchevsk in the Bryansk region.
The General Staff explained that systematic strikes on such facilities weaken Russian air defenses and create gaps in radar coverage. Thanks to this, the Ukrainian military can more effectively use drones both near the front line and for strikes on military targets deep inside Russia.
In addition, the Defense Forces attacked an artillery position and the location of Russian UAV operators near Lyman Pershy in the Kharkiv region.
In the Donetsk region, Ukrainian military forces struck occupier ammunition depots in the areas of Hrintal and Ternovo. A Russian army logistics depot near Pelahiivka was also hit.
Separately, the General Staff reported strikes on Russian military concentration areas in the Svobodne and Volodymyrivka districts of Donetsk region, as well as Naberezhne in Zaporizhia.
Information about the extent of damage and enemy losses is not yet specified.
