The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Buk air defense system in the Bryansk region and a number of important Russian facilities: consequences of the attacks

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck a number of military facilities of the Russian occupiers in the territory of the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, a Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system was hit in the Bryansk region.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff noted that the strike on the Buk-M1 complex was carried out near the settlement of Pervoe Maya, Bryansk region. As a result, a direct hit and disabling of another enemy air defense unit was recorded.
The Ukrainian military also struck the area of concentration of the Buk-M2 anti-aircraft missile system in the Staropetrykivka area in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhia region. The results of this defeat are being clarified.
In addition, other important enemy targets were hit:
- logistics hub and concentration area near Velyka Novoselka;
- a command and observation post in the vicinity of Uspenivka;
- unmanned aerial vehicle control point near Rivnepil’;
- areas of concentration of manpower near Berdyansk and Hulyaipol;
- command and observation post near Smorodino, Belgorod region, Russian Federation.
The General Staff noted that the enemy’s losses are being clarified. It is also emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue measures aimed at reducing Russia’s offensive potential and destroying key military infrastructure facilities.

As a reminder, on March 11-12, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of successful strikes on Russian military facilities in temporarily occupied territories in order to reduce the enemy’s offensive potential.
