The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Russian carrier ship “Kalibriv” in the port of Primorsk: details of the attack

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the destruction of Russian military facilities in the port of Primorsk as part of a joint operation by the Ukrainian defense forces. According to the head of state, the missile ship “Karakurt”, a patrol boat, a tanker of the shadow oil fleet, and the infrastructure of the oil loading port were hit.

The Head of State stated that Major General Yevheniy Khmara reported to him on the results of the operation. The operation involved the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
“Minus another Russian carrier of “Calibers”. Major General Yevgeny Khmara reported on the successful destruction of facilities in the port of Primorsk,” Zelensky said.
The president said that the Karakurt missile ship, a patrol boat, and a tanker belonging to Russia’s shadow oil fleet were hit during the operation. He also said that the infrastructure of the oil loading port suffered significant damage.
“Each of our results limits Russia’s war potential,” the president emphasized.
The SSO noted that the small missile ship “Karakurt” had a launcher and 8 “Caliber” cruise missiles with a range of up to 2,000 kilometers on board . The 67-meter-long ship was also equipped with a sea-based “Pantsir-M” anti-aircraft missile and gun complex.
Separately, Zelenskyy said that he had agreed to “additional completely fair responses” for the Security Service of Ukraine to Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages.
“Russia can end this war of its own at any time. Prolonging the war will only lead to the scaling up of our defensive operations,” the head of state said.
By the way, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two ships of the Russian shadow oil fleet at the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk.
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a special operation in temporarily occupied Crimea, during which Russian military facilities in Sevastopol and at the Belbek airfield were hit. The attacks damaged ships , air defense facilities, and military aircraft.
