In the Zaporizhia direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces achieved partial success – the enemy was pushed out of positions in Kamiansky and Plavny. The situation on the ground was personally monitored by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky. In response to the threat, a decision was made to strengthen the grouping of Ukrainian troops in the region.

It is noted that on July 28, a number of important tactical changes took place on the Zaporizhzhia Front. The head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that as a result of coordinated actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers were partially knocked out of their positions in the settlements of Kamianske and Plavni.
The situation on the ground was personally monitored by Oleksandr Syrsky, who arrived at the front to assess the situation and decide on further actions. After assessing the situation, the Commander-in-Chief decided to strengthen the grouping of Ukrainian troops in the area to deter further enemy attacks.
Fedorov stressed that the situation remains tense, but it has been stabilized.
“After Syrsky’s visit, we immediately saw the result: the Russians lost positions in several settlements,” the head of the OVA noted.
At the same time, according to DeepState analysts, Russian troops are making some progress in some areas of the front — in particular, in the Hulyaipil direction, in particular near Temyrivka. This emphasizes the dynamic nature of the situation and the need for a constant response from the Ukrainian Armed Forces command.
We should add that the invaders continue to storm the positions of the Ukrainian defenders. In total, 121 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day. Once, the aggressor attacked in the Orikhiv direction – the invaders tried to advance in the area of the settlement of Plavni.
