The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Pankivka in the Donetsk region: what is known about the situation in the Dobropil direction

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, together with the military of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov”, continue offensive operations in the Dobropil direction. As a result of coordinated actions, the settlement of Pankivka and the surrounding areas were completely liberated.
This was reported by the corps ‘ press service .
The operation took place in conditions of active confrontation. The Ukrainian military cleared the settlement and established new positions, ensuring the advancement of the front line. This allowed creating additional opportunities for further offensive in this direction.
At the same time, the enemy is trying to restrain the Ukrainian forces. According to “Azov”, the command of the Russian troops has redeployed additional reserves here: four infantry brigades and one marine regiment. With such actions, the occupiers seek to increase their offensive potential and prevent the expansion of the Defense Forces’ success.
Intense fighting is currently underway. Ukrainian units are doing everything possible to stop the enemy’s advance and prevent it from breaking through the defenses. Despite the Russians sending in reserves, the initiative in the Dobropil direction remains with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian National Guard.
Earlier, on September 13, the Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated the village of Filiya, Dnipropetrovsk region, from Russian troops.
By the way, the Ukrainian military continues its offensive in the Donetsk region. On September 8, the defense forces took full control of the village of Zarichne, Kramatorsk district , raising the national flag over the destroyed buildings of the settlement.
The day before, it was reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces were having success on the front, in particular, the military managed to liberate the village of Novoekonomichne in the Donetsk region from Russian invaders.
