The Armed Forces of Ukraine punched a hole in the Russian Federation: deep strikes caused huge economic losses

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have dealt Russia a significant economic blow: according to the General Staff, deep attacks this year have led to the loss of more than 4% of the aggressor country’s GDP.

The press service of the General Staff reported that this year alone, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have carried out strategic strikes that have affected the Russian economy, and that every tenth strike was on a target located more than a thousand kilometers from the borders of Ukraine.

As a reminder, due to the rapid decline in oil and gas revenues and rising costs, the Russian government will make changes to the budget for the second time in a year.

As reported, the Russian Central Bank, in a new macro forecast, admitted that economic growth in the Russian Federation could fall to zero by the end of 2025. This is perhaps the regulator’s most pessimistic forecast in recent years.
