Units of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun testing exoskeletons. They are already being used both in logistics and directly at combat positions, in particular in the Pokrovskoye direction.

This was reported by the press service of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the military, the new technology helps significantly reduce the physical load on soldiers, increase movement speed and work efficiency.

“Every day, artillerymen endure high physical exertion. They carry 15–30 shells weighing about 50 kg each. According to the results of the tests, they get less tired, work faster, and maintain combat readiness longer,” said Colonel Vitaliy Serdyuk, deputy commander of the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to him, the use of exoskeletons allows you to reduce the load by approximately 30%, reach speeds of up to 20 km/h, and work at a distance of up to 17 km without recharging.

The military emphasizes that the implementation of such solutions is part of the transition to modern technologies that help reduce the physical load on soldiers and increase their effectiveness on the battlefield.

As a reminder, Ukraine has received 2 Phantom MK-1 humanoid robots to evaluate their effectiveness in combat conditions. The robots are planned to be used primarily for reconnaissance missions on the front line.

As reported, Ukraine is gradually expanding the so-called “kill zone” on the front, increasing the range of drone strikes on Russian military positions. Ukrainian UAVs are now capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 150 km, which is three times more than previous indicators.
