The Armed Forces of Ukraine received the M-160 mortar: what are its characteristics?

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received the M-160 divisional mortar of the 1949 model.
This was reported by “Military” with reference to a video published by the military.
It is noted that the corresponding weapon is designed to destroy fortifications, personnel and armored vehicles of the enemy in tactical depth. The M-160 mortar is characterized by a maximum range of over 8 kilometers and a weight of 1,170 kilograms.
160-mm mines weigh about 41 kilograms and are equipped with 7.7–9 kilograms of explosives. According to “Military”, in the event of a direct hit, it is capable of destroying most field shelters.
The mortar is loaded not through the barrel, but through the breech, so mortar rounds are equipped with small cartridges.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine the Ukrainian-made KRAMPUS mobile flamethrower strike complex . It will be used to perform assault and defensive missions.
