The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 130 attacks by Russian occupiers on 11 front lines in 24 hours

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 8 a.m. on March 9, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.
The defense forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their position and advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment on various sections of the front. In total , 130 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck five areas of manpower concentration, three artillery systems, a command post, an ammunition depot, and five other important targets of the occupiers.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike using two missiles, 76 air strikes, dropped 264 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,468 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,601 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 71 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes with guided bombs on settlements, in particular Bachivsk, Kucherivka, Sukhodil, Maksymivshchyna in Sumy region; Oleksandrograd in Donetsk region; Pidhavrilivka, Havrilivka, Pokrovske, Pysantsi, Malynivka in Dnipropetrovsk region; Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Kopani, Zahirne, Hulyaipilske, Charivne, Komyshuvakha, Orikhiv in Zaporizhia region.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy carried out one air strike, using two aerial bombs, and carried out 129 shellings, eight of which used MLRS.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy once stormed the positions of our units towards the settlement of Zybyne.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor attacked twice towards the settlement of Kurylivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked three times. He tried to wedge his way into our defenses towards the settlements of Stavky, Drobysheve, and Lyman.
In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped eight attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Zakitne, Riznykivka, and Platonovka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked twice in the area of Nikiforivka and Chasovye Yar.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillya, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and towards Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 22 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Myrnograd, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and towards the settlements of Shevchenko, Sergiyevka, Novopidhorodne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Ternove, Zlagoda, Vorone and towards the settlements of Andriivka-Klevtsove, Pryvillya.
In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 19 attacks by the invaders in the Myrne area and towards Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka, Girky, and Svyatopetrivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, there was one clash with the enemy near Stepnohirsk.
In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack towards the Antoniv Bridge.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, putting up effective resistance on all sections of the front.
By the way, last day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 750 people . The enemy also lost three tanks, ten armored combat vehicles, 70 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, four air defense systems, one boat, 2,224 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 188 units of automotive equipment.
