The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 148 assaults by the Russian army in a day: where did the most clashes take place?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 8 a.m. on May 4, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total , 148 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours. Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck nine areas of concentration of occupier personnel and two guns.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike using two missiles, carried out 86 air strikes, dropped 312 guided bombs. In addition, it used 10,394 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,384 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 37 from multiple rocket launchers.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Vilna Sloboda in Sumy region; Prosyana in Dnipropetrovsk region; Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Novomykolaivka, Malyn, Hulyaipilske, Lisne, Kopani, Omelnyk, Yehorivka, Rizdvyanka, Barvinivka, Rivne, Orikhiv, Omelnyk, Lystivka, Tavriyske, Hryhorivka, Odarivka, Zarichne, Komyshuvakha, Tsvitkove, Lyubitske, Shyroke, Novoselyvka, Novorozivka in Zaporizhia region.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, one combat clash occurred, the enemy carried out 73 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, three of which were using multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out three air strikes, using seven guided bombs.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units three times in the direction of Staritsa, Lyman, and Mytrofanivka.

In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor attacked twice in the direction of Kurylivka and Kivsharivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attempts by the invaders to advance towards Lyman, Novy Mir, Drobyshevy, and Ozerny.

In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped three attempts by the occupiers to advance in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kalenykivka, and Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction last day, our soldiers repelled an enemy attack in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka area.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 23 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillya, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 26 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Bilytske, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Sergiyevka, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Muravka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked six times in the areas of the settlements of Vorone, Oleksandrovgrad, Zlagoda, Yegorivka, Krasnohirske, and Berezove.

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 23 attacks by the invaders in the directions of Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka, Pryluky, Tsvitkove, Svyatopetrivka, Verkhnya Tersa, Hirky, Charivny, and Hulyaipil.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped one enemy attempt to advance in the Shcherbaky area.

In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian units stopped two enemy attacks towards Antonivka.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.

By the way, last day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,120 people . Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed six tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 113 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 11 ground robotic complexes, 2,249 unmanned aerial vehicles, 5 missiles, 268 vehicles and 17 special equipment.
