The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 174 assaults by the Russian army: where did the most clashes take place?

Over the past 24 hours, 174 combat clashes occurred on the front line. The occupiers carried out thousands of shelling and drone attacks. The fiercest battles continued in the Pokrovsky, Hulyaipil, and Kostyantynivka directions.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 12.

Yesterday, the enemy used 8,246 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,416 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 82 from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the aggressor carried out 65 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including three using MLRS. Four enemy assault actions were recorded.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 11 times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Starytsia, and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked twice in the Radkivka and Kivsharivka areas over the past day.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 17 times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Lyman, Drobysheve, Zarichne, Ozerne, and Stavky.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy carried out assault operations nine times, in the areas of Riznykovka, Kryva Luka, and Zakytne.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 16 attacks near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillya, Novopavlivka, Toretske, and Kucheriv Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 32 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Bilytske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske and in the direction of Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked twice, towards Kalynivka and Verbovka.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the invaders carried out 20 attacks towards the settlements of Dobropillya, Staroukrainka, Zaliznychne, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Vozdvizhivka, Charivne, Girke and in the Hulyaipil area.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders in the Stepnohirske area four times.

The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Dnieper direction.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
