On October 25 and the night of October 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked a number of Russian military facilities in the occupied territories. The strikes targeted control points, a communications hub, a drone workshop, and warehouses with military equipment.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukrainian military personnel struck a Russian army communications hub near Melitopol, Zaporizhia region. The General Staff noted that this should make it more difficult for the occupiers to communicate between units and control troops.
The Defense Forces also attacked Russian command posts in the Myrnograd area of Donetsk region and near Chervonohirka in Zaporizhia. These strikes are intended to prevent the occupiers from coordinating their actions at the front.
In addition, the Ukrainian military struck a drone control point in the Vyshneve area and a UAV workshop near Melitopol. The General Staff explained that this will help reduce the Russians’ ability to attack Ukrainian positions and frontline settlements with drones.
Other targets were Russian army logistics depots near Komisarivka and Katerynivka, Luhansk region.
According to the General Staff, strikes on warehouses should complicate the supply of necessary property and resources to Russian units.
As a reminder, on October 25 and the night of October 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the Energia plant in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation . The plant, which produces batteries for Russian missiles and air bombs, was hit. A fire broke out at the plant.
