The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck Russian special forces depots and units in the Donetsk region

On the night of December 26, 2025, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck at logistics facilities and special forces units of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the military, the enemy’s 14th Special Forces Brigade concentration in the settlement of Berdyansk, as well as the material and technical equipment depot of the 228th Motorized Rifle Regiment in the Starobeshevo area, were hit.

The losses of the Russian occupiers are currently being clarified.

In addition, the results of previous strikes confirmed the destruction of a fuel and lubricants depot belonging to a separate enemy logistics brigade. The facility was located near the temporarily occupied city of Volnovakha in the Donetsk region.

The General Staff emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to strike aimed at reducing the enemy’s military-economic and offensive capabilities and forcing Russia to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine.

It was previously reported that Ukrainian drones struck a command post of Russian military intelligence special forces and landing craft of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

As a reminder, an extraordinary event occurred on the territory of a military facility in Primorsky Krai, Russia, on the morning of December 24. In Ussuriysk, two explosions were heard in the parking lot of one of the military units — No. 19288, where the 80th Vitebsk Red Banner Management Brigade is stationed.
