The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Novoshakhtynskyi refinery in the Rostov region and the occupiers’ warehouses

Units of the Defense Forces struck the Novoshakhtyn Oil Products Plant and a number of other important Russian facilities.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“As part of reducing the enemy’s offensive potential and complicating the supply of fuel to the military units of the occupiers, on the night of August 21, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the Novoshakhtinsky Oil Products Plant in the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation,” the General Staff reported.
It is noted that the affected refinery is one of the largest suppliers of petroleum products in southern Russia and supplies the Russian occupation forces. The total volume of the plant’s tanks is over 210,000 cubic meters.
Also, SSR units hit a UAV warehouse and a logistics hub in the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk. Numerous explosions were observed at the site of the hit.
In addition, a hit was recorded in the area of the Russian occupiers’ fuel and lubricants base in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation.
As a reminder, on the night of August 19 , the Volgograd region of Russia was subjected to a large-scale drone attack . A series of explosions were heard on the outskirts of the regional center, and local residents reported a fire at an oil refinery and damage to a hospital.
As reported, on the night of August 18 , the Unmanned Systems Forces, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the Russian Nikolskoye oil pumping station in the Tambov region.
