The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Saki airfield and the Russian drone relay station

On August 12, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched strikes on military facilities of the Russian occupiers in temporarily occupied Crimea. The attack hit the control tower of the Saki airfield and a repeater that the Russians used to control attack drones.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Novofedorivka area, Ukrainian military personnel struck a control tower on the territory of the Saki military airfield.

In addition, the Defense Forces struck a repeater in the Chornomorske area. Russian troops used it to control Geran and Gerbera-type strike drones.

The General Staff noted that strikes on these facilities reduce the ability of Russian troops to ensure the operation of the military airfield and control strike drones.

The defense forces continue to strike key targets of Russian troops and reduce their ability to conduct combat operations and provide support to their groups.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the Russian naval base in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Territory, on the night of August 12. According to preliminary data, 4 Russian warships were damaged.
