The Armed Forces of Ukraine surrounded part of the Russian troops in the Dobropil direction: what is known about the situation on the front

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that some units of Russian troops were surrounded in the Dobropil direction. Ukrainian forces achieved significant successes during the counter-offensive operation, liberating significant territories and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

According to Syrsky, thanks to the clearly planned and decisive actions of the Ukrainian military, the enemy suffered heavy losses.

In particular, the total losses of Russian forces in this direction amount to 3,185 people, of which 1,769 are irretrievable. In addition, the enemy lost 969 units of weapons and military equipment.

The Commander-in-Chief noted that during the counter-offensive operation, Ukrainian forces have already liberated about 175 sq. km of territory. Almost 195 sq. km have also been cleared of sabotage groups.

Syrsky emphasized that the operational situation in the direction remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the liberated territories are gradually being consolidated.

It was previously reported that units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, together with the military of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov”, are continuing offensive operations in the Dobropil direction . As a result of coordinated actions, the settlement of Pankivka and the surrounding areas were completely liberated.
