An automated military registration system called “Oberig” has been launched in Ukraine, allowing young men aged 17 to 25 to register without visiting the CCC and SP. The new digital mechanism synchronizes with state registers and independently records conscripts in the database, which significantly simplifies the procedure and eliminates the need for queues and unnecessary certificates.

Lawyer Yuriy Tanasiychuk told this on the air of “Kyiv24” .

It is noted that the single electronic register of conscripts, military conscripts and reservists “Oberig” has become fully operational. Now young men aged 17 to 25 are automatically registered, using only the data already in state databases – without the need to personally go to the military registration and enlistment office (TCK and SP).

According to Tanasiychuk, the system is synchronized with the registers of the State Migration Service and other official databases. Thanks to this, the registration procedure has become almost invisible to the citizen – without queues, collection of documents, or personal visits.

Despite digitalization, certain categories still need to appear at the CCC. This applies, in particular, to:

  • persons who have health problems that may be grounds for deferment or unfitness for service;
  • persons with special circumstances who are not subject to mobilization.

The Ministry of Defense explains that “Oberig” reduces the risk of errors due to the human factor, saves time and resources for both the state and citizens. This is another step towards the full digitalization of the defense sector, which meets modern challenges and increases the efficiency of military accounting.

It is worth adding that the contacts of the non-staff hotlines in the regional territorial recruitment and social support centers were updated in the Land Forces .

It was previously reported that by attacking territorial recruitment centers in Ukrainian cities, Russia seeks to physically destroy the data of conscripts and slow down or stop the mobilization process.
