Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday, August 6, for an official visit.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
In the Ukrainian capital, the Azerbaijani diplomat was met by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga. During the visit, Bayramov will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with senior Ukrainian officials.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry noted that the talks will be devoted to issues of bilateral cooperation and the further development of relations between the countries.
The visit takes place against the backdrop of active Ukrainian-Azerbaijani dialogue and continued diplomatic interaction between Kyiv and Baku.
It was previously reported that on April 25, Ukraine and Azerbaijan signed six bilateral agreements related to security, defense cooperation, and economic partnership.
