The Cabinet of Ministers approved new payments for the military: what is known

The Cabinet of Ministers has published Resolution No. 768, which changes the system of additional payments for servicemen of the Defense Forces, police special forces, and foreigners serving in the Ukrainian army.

This is stated in a document published on the Government Portal.

The government calls the innovation a pilot project that will operate for two years.

At the same time, the monthly supplement of up to 100 thousand hryvnias for direct participation in hostilities remains in effect.

In addition, the resolution provides for the following rewards:

• 170 thousand hryvnias – for performing combat missions on the front line as part of units of the first echelon of defense or offense;
• 70 thousand hryvnias – for performing combat missions at the company strongpoint level;
• 20 thousand hryvnias per day – for the restoration of positions captured by Russian units in the depths of Ukrainian defense;
• 40 thousand hryvnias per day – for capturing enemy positions on the front line or in the depths of the Russian Federation’s defense;
• 100 thousand hryvnias – for each captured Russian soldier. The amount is divided between the participants in the operation;
• 15 thousand hryvnias – for each occupier eliminated in a shooting or hand-to-hand combat with video confirmation;
• 50 thousand hryvnias per month – for military personnel performing tasks at combat control points;
• from 15 to 30 thousand hryvnias per month – for military personnel of the instructor staff;
• 10 thousand hryvnias per month – to certain categories of military personnel in accordance with the resolution.

The document also states that if a serviceman is entitled to several awards at the same time, only one – the largest in size – will be paid.

The maximum amount of all payments cannot exceed 460 thousand hryvnias per month per serviceman.

The resolution entered into force on the date of its official publication.
