The Cabinet of Ministers has classified the volumes and amounts of gas imports for the heating season.

Ukraine is urgently addressing the issue of additional gas imports due to production losses. However, the exact volumes of losses have not been disclosed.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced this during government question hour in the Verkhovna Rada.
“I’ll give you a full answer separately, not in general,” Sviridenko said in response to a deputy’s question about the volumes of gas that need to be imported.
She recalled plans to pump 13.2 billion cubic meters of gas into storage facilities by the start of the heating season.
“This goal, this mark, has been achieved, and we had this volume,” the head of government assured.
According to her, the losses in domestic production are significant.
“You know what happened with the attacks on the gas system. I don’t want to talk about the losses in domestic gas production, but we urgently need to address the issue of additional gas imports,” Sviridenko stated, promising to provide deputies with information on volumes and amounts.
It’s worth noting that on the night of October 16, Russian troops attacked energy infrastructure in the Poltava region.Gas production facilities of DTEK Naftogaz came under enemy fire.
As is known, Russia has already destroyed 60% of Ukrainian gas production thanks to large-scale attacks on facilities in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions.
