The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded payments for military personnel released from Russian captivity

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko said that the government has expanded the possibilities of receiving payments for servicemen released from Russian captivity who require long-term inpatient treatment.
This was reported by the press service of Yulia Sviridenko.
“The government has expanded the possibility of receiving payments of UAH 50,000 per month for servicemen who, after being released from Russian captivity, require long-term inpatient treatment,” Svyrydenko noted.
According to her, payments will be available not only to military personnel, but also to police officers and representatives of the civil defense service who were in Russian captivity.
“These are defenders who require inpatient treatment for more than 30 days due to illness, injury, contusion, or mutilation,” she said.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the state’s task is to ensure a decent life for all defenders who survived the inhumane conditions of Russian captivity.
It was previously reported that the Defense Forces of Ukraine updated the mechanism for accruing additional monetary rewards to servicemen . The innovations determine the list of persons entitled to payments, the grounds for their accrual, and the deadlines for issuing the relevant orders.
