The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified booking for transformer equipment manufacturers

The government allowed enterprises that produce transformer equipment for the energy sector to reserve 100% of military-duty employees.

This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to ensure that energy equipment manufacturers can operate uninterruptedly and retain specialized engineers during the energy emergency.

According to the decision, enterprises that manufacture and repair transformers were given the right to reserve all employees subject to military registration.

The Government also reduced the number of criteria for recognizing companies as critically important from three to two.

The Cabinet of Ministers emphasizes that this decision should accelerate the restoration of energy facilities and ensure the stable operation of critical industries.

As previously reported, the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FRU) appealed to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and the Ministry of Economy with a proposal to update the mechanism for reserving military personnel.

Recall that from January 2026, some Ukrainians may lose their reservation for mobilization due to changes in salary requirements.
