The Ukrainian government will allocate UAH 789 million from the reserve fund to protect roads that are important for defense and logistics from drones.
This was announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky.
It is noted that UAH 357 million will be received by the Reconstruction Agency, and another UAH 432 million will be transferred to regional military administrations of frontline regions. The funds will be directed to Zaporizhia, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kherson regions.
In particular, the head of government emphasized that work on installing anti-drone protection should begin immediately and be completed as soon as possible.
It was previously reported that border communities in the Volyn region plan to install anti-drone nets over certain sections of highways. Such structures should strengthen the region’s protection from possible threats involving drones.
