The Central Military District denied the fake news about recruiting students to the Unmanned Systems Forces

A fake photo of an alleged information poster at a Kyiv higher education institution is being circulated online. The fake image suggests that applicants sign a contract with the Unmanned Systems Forces instead of enrolling in the university.

This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.

The Central Military District emphasized that the image is fake. It does not correspond to the style of the Unmanned Systems Forces’ recruiting materials or the unit’s official communications.

In addition, the propagandists made an obvious mistake. The fake photo shows lists of enrolled students, although the admissions campaign is still ongoing and such lists do not currently exist.

The Center also noted that Russia is actively recruiting students to its unmanned systems units. According to the Center, the Kremlin uses pressure, manipulation, and coercion to do this.
