The Chairman of the Odessa Regional Council, Didenko, and his wife, a member of parliament from the “Servant of the People” party, will appear in court for false declarations.

Odesa Regional Council Chairman Grigoriy Didenko and his wife, Servant of the People MP Yulia Didenko, suspected of submitting false information in their asset declarations, will appear in court.

The NABU press service reported this.

According to the Bureau, they failed to declare assets worth more than 8 million hryvnias. The couple omitted this information from their annual property declarations for 2021-2023.

“Furthermore, based on NABU materials, the SAPO prosecutor filed a lawsuit to confiscate assets worth nearly 5 million hryvnias from the spouses in favor of the state, as they cannot explain their origin,” the statement reads.

It was established that this is the amount that the regional council chairman and his MP wife paid in installments for apartments and two Audi SQ8 cars (2021 and 2024) in 2021-2024.

We are talking about the head of the Odessa regional council, Grigory Didenko, and his wife, Yulia Didenko, who is a member of parliament from the Servant of the People party.
