The cold doesn’t recede: weather forecast for May 1

Cool spring weather persists in Ukraine. In most regions, the air warms up only to +8…+13 degrees during the day, and slight frosts are still possible in some places at night.

This is evidenced by data from the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

There will be brief rains in some places, mainly in the north, east, and central regions. In the western and southern regions, the day will pass mostly without significant precipitation.

Forecasters explain that the weather is being affected by a cool air mass that keeps temperatures low, although an area of high pressure is gradually moving in from Europe. Because of this, precipitation will be local and short-lived.

Cool weather is also expected in Kyiv today, with light rain possible in places, and the temperature during the day will stay around +10 degrees.

At the same time, meteorologists predict that in the coming days it will become warmer in Ukraine, and the weather will gradually transition to a more stable spring regime.
