On the night of December 27, during a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia region, the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps, Denis Kapustin, known by the call sign WhiteRex, was killed.

This was reported on the RDC Telegram channel.

According to preliminary information, the cause of the death was a strike by an FPV drone. The department noted that the circumstances of the incident are being investigated, and details will be released later.

The RDC emphasized that they would avenge the commander’s death and stated that his case would continue.
