Due to the destruction of Ukraine’s warehouse infrastructure, prices for certain goods could increase by 15–20%. Manufacturers and suppliers may raise prices to compensate for losses from Russian strikes.
This is reported by LIGA.net .
The shortage of warehouse space is already creating problems for logistics: contracts are being broken, deliveries are being delayed, and there may be a shortage of certain goods in stores and marketplaces.
Founder and Director of the Bureau of Investment Programs, Oleksandr Bondarenko, predicts that manufacturers and suppliers may raise prices by 15–20% to compensate for losses.
“We hope that manufacturers and suppliers of products will be able to close this deficit in the next month or a month and a half. But, most likely, they will raise prices by 15-20% to cover their losses from Russian missiles,” Bondarenko predicts.
According to his estimate, the losses from strikes on Kyiv’s logistics infrastructure in 2026 will amount to approximately $250 million, and for the entire period of a full-scale war – about $400 million.
Separately, Bondarenko reported damage to up to 50,000 square meters of Nova Poshta terminals in 2026.
“According to our data, this year alone, up to 50,000 sq m of Nova Poshta terminals were damaged – and this is up to $50 million in losses for just one company,” he emphasized.
Recall that after Russian attacks on distribution centers, the Silpo and Fora chains experienced disruptions in the supply of certain goods . Store shelves have been partially emptied, and the companies are restructuring logistics to restore stable supply.
By the way, as a result of the Russian attack on the night of August 5 , a warehouse with finished products of the company JTI Ukraine was destroyed in the Kyiv region . Also damaged was the goods of “Imperial Brands Ukraine”, which were stored in the warehouses of partners.
At the same time, the massive Russian attack on the night of August 5 affected the logistics infrastructure of several large companies . PUMA, INTERTOP, and Toyota Ukraine reported the loss of warehouses, and the Silpo chain confirmed the death of six employees.
