The court chose a preventive measure for Kudrytsky: what is known

The Pechersk Court of Kyiv has imposed a preventive measure on the former head of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi.

According to the court decision, Kudrytsky was sent to custody for 2 months – until December 26, with the possibility of bail in the amount of 13 million 730 thousand hryvnias.

During the meeting, the prosecutor drew attention to the risks, in particular, he believes that the former head of Ukrenergo may be hiding or going abroad, as he has three children.

In addition, it is proposed to impose a number of obligations on the suspect: not to leave the place of residence without notification, wear an electronic bracelet, and surrender his or her passport.

Kudrytsky’s defense filed a motion for bail. The court, in turn, accepted the motions from MPs Inna Sovsun and Maksym Khlapuk.

Kudrytskyi is convinced that the suspicion is unfounded. He emphasized his “impeccable” business reputation, adding that he signed only one document on behalf of the company, but there is no other evidence of involvement.

“I’m going to prove that the suspicion is absurd. And that I didn’t even have contact with the people involved in the wrongdoing,” said the former head of the company.

At the same time, Kudrytskyi rejected the possibility of hiding. According to him, in the 7 years that the investigation has been ongoing, he has never done so.

As a reminder, former executive director of NPC Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytskyi has become a subject of an investigation conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation . Investigators are investigating his involvement in abuse of office and misappropriation of state company funds.

By the way, on October 29, the Pechersk Court of Kyiv began considering the case on the election of a preventive measure for the former head of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi.
