The court opened a case against Bezuglaya: she is being investigated under the article of treason

The Prosecutor General’s Office, together with the State Bureau of Investigation, is conducting a pre-trial investigation into People’s Deputy Maryana Bezuglaya in a treason case.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a comment from the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine and a source in law enforcement agencies.

As noted in the Prosecutor General’s Office, information was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations in compliance with the decisions of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv upon the applicants’ applications.

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the UCP.

“The investigation is currently ongoing, so any details can only be reported to the extent that they do not harm the investigation,” the Prosecutor General’s Office noted.

Law enforcement officials have not yet revealed other details of the case.

Maryana Bezugla herself responded to the message on social media. She posted a photo on Facebook with the caption: “Don’t scare me.”

As previously reported,the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv ordered the Prosecutor General’s Office to initiate a pre-trial investigation into Roman Chervinsky’s statement regarding People’s Deputy Maryana Bezugla.
