Ukraine will resume transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline on April 22 afternoon, which has been suspended since January.

Reuters reports this, citing sources.

Earlier, the Hungarian company MOL stated that it had received official notification from Kyiv about the completion of repair work and the resumption of deliveries.

According to the publication, the initial oil volumes are planned to be distributed equally between Hungary and Slovakia . MOL has already submitted corresponding transportation requests.

It was previously reported that in February, EU foreign ministers were unable to agree on the 20th package of sanctions against Russia due to Hungary’s veto.

As a reminder, Slovakian Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar stated that Bratislava is prepared to block the EU’s 20th sanctions package against Russia. However, the country will not prevent Ukraine from receiving a billion-dollar loan.
