The Zaporizhzhia regional police have classified the death of a military officer who was found with a gunshot wound as a premeditated murder. Earlier, the “South” operational command reported the death of the commander of the 154th separate mechanized brigade, Colonel Volodymyr Kononnikov.

The police reported that the commander of one of the military units was found without signs of life with a gunshot wound. Information on this fact has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for intentional murder.
