The death toll from the massive Russian shelling of the capital on the night of November 14 has risen to 7.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Timur Tkachenko.

“Unfortunately, an elderly woman who was seriously injured in the overnight attack died in the hospital this morning. The death toll has risen to seven,” Tkachenko said.

According to him, doctors did everything possible, but the injuries the woman sustained were incompatible with life.

On the night of November 14, Russian forces launched 19 missiles and 430 drones of various types at Ukraine. The main target was Kyiv, where significant damage was recorded:

  • Dozens of high-rise buildings were damaged;

  • the building of the Azerbaijani embassy was damaged;

  • Sections of heating networks were damaged.

As a result of the attack, 36 people were injured, including:

  • two children, 7 and 10 years old;

  • pregnant woman.

Doctors assess the condition of some of the victims as serious.

City authorities and emergency services continue to deal with the aftermath of one of the largest air strikes on Kyiv in recent memory.

As a reminder, Kyiv experienced a massive combined drone and missile attack on the night of November 14. The shelling killed one person, injured more than two dozen others, and caused numerous fires and extensive damage across the capital.

It later became known that three people were killed, 26 residents were injured, and heating networks, houses, and some public transport were damaged.
