The Defense Forces have repelled 122 attacks by the Russian army since the beginning of the day: which directions are the hottest?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 PM on July 20, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total, 122 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of this day. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on it.

Today, the Russian invaders carried out two missile strikes using 5 missiles, 53 air strikes, dropping 71 guided bombs. In addition, they engaged 1,427 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,327 shelling of our troops’ positions and settlements.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, there were 18 clashes with the Russian invaders, five of which are still ongoing. The enemy carried out nine air strikes, dropped 12 guided bombs, and carried out 229 artillery shells.

Today, the enemy attacked four times in the South-Slobozhansk direction, in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe, Kutkivka, and Starytsia.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out four offensive actions in the area of Kindrashivka, Zeleny Gay, and in the direction of Kupyansk, and one clash is still ongoing.

In the Lymansky direction, the Defense Forces have already repelled 17 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Karpivka, Kolodyazi, Novyi Mir, Ridkodub, Shandryholove, Torske and in the direction of Serebryanka, three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Siversky direction, the enemy attacked six times in the areas of Viymka, Verkhnokamyansky, Fedorivka, and Hryhorivka, and three clashes are still ongoing.

Since the beginning of the day, the enemy in the Kramatorsk direction attacked once in the direction of Predtechyny.

Eight clashes took place in the Toretsk direction today. The enemy tried to storm the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Diliivka, Shcherbinivka, Rusyn Yar, Toretsk and in the direction of Katerynivka, two attacks are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked positions 36 times in the areas of the settlements of Poltavka, Udachne, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Zvirovo, Novopavlivka, Horikhove, Oleksiivka and in the direction of Pokrovska, Myrnograda. Our defenders have repelled 34 assaults, two more clashes are ongoing to this day. Today, according to preliminary data, 209 occupiers have been neutralized in this direction, of which 130 are irretrievable. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed two units of automotive equipment, five motorcycles, three guns, 14 unmanned aerial vehicles, three UAV control antennas, two UAV control points, and three units of automotive equipment, two guns and two UAV control antennas of the Russian occupiers were also damaged.

In the Novopavlivske direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Yalta, Mirne, Tolstoy, Voskresenka, Maliivka, Zelene Pole, Temyrivka, and Novopil. Three more clashes are ongoing.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil and Orikhiv directions, but carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Plavni and Prymorske.

One combat engagement took place in the Dnieper direction, and the enemy also launched an airstrike with unguided aircraft missiles on Odradokamyanka.
