The Defense Forces have repelled 195 assaults by the Russian army since the beginning of the day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on October 9 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total , 195 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The enemy carried out 61 air strikes, dropped 197 guided bombs. In addition, it engaged 3,902 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 1,138 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.

In the North-Slobozhansk direction, eight combat clashes took place in the areas of Tovstodubovoye, Malaya Slobidka, Bachivsk, Doroshivka, Bunyachyne, and Malaya Rybitsa. Ukrainian soldiers stopped four attacks, and four more battles are still ongoing.

During the day, in the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 13 times near Bugaivka, Izbitsky, Grafske, Vovchansk, Varvarivka, and Vodiane.

In the Kupyansk direction, two clashes were recorded in the Novoplatonivka and Kolisnykivka areas, one battle is still ongoing.

In the Lymansky direction, four clashes took place in the Novoselivka area. Our defenders neutralized three attempts by the invaders to advance, and another clash is still ongoing.

In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces pushed back the enemy near Ozerne.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, 15 combat clashes were recorded in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, and Mykolaipilla, three attacks have not yet ended.

A total of 19 attacks were recorded in the Pokrovske direction in the areas of the settlements of Vilne, Dobropillya, Rodynske, Bilytske, Novy Donbas, Krasnopodillia, Dorozhne, Myrne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka, two clashes are ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 37 occupiers were eliminated here today and 8 were wounded; one vehicle, three units of special equipment, one electronic warfare station, one ammunition depot, and two enemy shelters were destroyed. Four vehicles, three units of special equipment, four UAV control points, and 38 enemy shelters were damaged. 196 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

Nine attacks by the invaders were recorded in the Hulyaipil direction in the areas of the settlements of Rizdvyanka, Dolynka, and Shyroke.

In the Orikhiv direction, our units prevented the enemy’s advance in the Primorsk area.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivsk, and Prydniprovsk directions.

There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
