The Defense Forces have repelled 195 attacks by the Russian army since the beginning of the day: which directions are the hottest?

Over the past 24 hours, 195 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on September 9.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile and 74 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used five missiles and dropped 148 guided bombs. In addition, 5,516 kamikaze drones were used to strike and 4,989 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and settlements, of which 86 were from multiple launch rocket systems.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Primorske, Zaporizhzhia region; Mykolaivka, Kherson region.
Yesterday, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck five command posts and one artillery system.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, 11 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. The enemy carried out 12 air strikes, dropped a total of 25 guided bombs, and carried out 207 artillery attacks, including 18 from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, five clashes took place in the areas of Vovchansk and Stroivka.

Nine attacks by the invaders were recorded in the Kupyansk direction during the day. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of Mirne, Kupyansk, Petropavlivka and in the direction of Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 14 times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Kolodyazi, Novomykhailivka, Hlushchenkove, Torske, as well as towards Shandryholovy.

In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces seven times in the areas of Hryhorivka, Serebryanka, Viyimka, and towards Yampol.

Over the past day, four combat clashes took place in the Kramatorsk direction in the areas of Minkivka, Stupochok, Bila Hora, and towards Bondarne.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out nine attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbinivka, Katerynivka, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 64 attacks by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Dachne, Novoukrainka, Sukhyi Yar, Shakhove, Molodetske and in the direction of Pokrovsk, Toretske, Novoekonomichesky, Novopavlivka.

In the Novopavlivske direction, the Defense Forces repelled 51 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Filiya, Yalta, Piddubne, Tolstoy, Lisne, Oleksandrograd, Sichneve, Komyshuvakha, Novoivanivka, Zeleny Gay, Maliivka, Novogeorgievka, Zelenye Pole, Zaporizhzhia, Obratne, Olhivske, Poltavka.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil and Orikhiv directions.

In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian units repelled four attacks by the invaders towards the Antoniv Bridge.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
