In the Dniprovs’kyi and Darnytsia districts of Kyiv, electricity supply was increased for residents who were left without heat after the latest shelling.
DTEK reports this.
Energy experts noted that the lights will be turned off only at certain times – from 8:00 to 11:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00. At other times, the power supply will be maintained so that people can heat their homes.
The company explained that the networks are currently operating under heavy load. The simultaneous use of boilers and heaters can cause accidents. Residents are asked to turn on powerful electrical appliances one at a time to avoid additional outages.
As previously reported, the Ministry of Energy held a regular meeting of the Headquarters for the Elimination of Consequences of Emergency Situations in Kyiv and the region. The situation remains most difficult in the area powered by CHP-4.
Recall, on February 3, Russia dealt the most powerful blow to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure since the beginning of 2026. Electricity generation and distribution facilities came under attack.
