The elements are returning: snowfall and stormy winds will cover Ukraine

On Wednesday, February 18, a southern cyclone will affect Ukraine. Moderate precipitation will occur in the west and north – snow, ice, and gusty winds.
This is reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.
The most difficult weather is expected in the central regions: snow, sleet, rain, sleet and ice. Strong northeast winds will make conditions especially dangerous on the roads.
It will be mostly rain in the east, rain in the south, and wet snow and gale force winds with heavy rainfall are possible in the Odessa region.
The temperature at night will range from -5 to -9 degrees, in the north up to -15, during the day -2…+7 degrees are expected. In the south, southeast and Transcarpathia the air will warm up to 0…+3 degrees, in Crimea +5…+10.
In Kyiv, snow is likely on Wednesday evening, roads are icy, at night to -12 degrees, during the day -8. Light frosts will linger, but from February 22–23, steady warming to above-zero temperatures is forecast.
